John has over 25 years of experience helping people plan, optimize, build, and maintain infrastructure assets. Throughout his career in the AEC industry, he has gained extensive expertise in areas such as public-private partnerships, design-build, and design-bid-build contracts. This deep understanding of infrastructure development and safety has been pivotal in his current role as Chief Operating Officer of Line-Scape, providing critical services to underground utility operators. In this role, John leverages his AEC industry experience to drive innovation and enhance the safety and efficiency of underground utility operations.
In addition to his leadership roles, John is a member of the Board of Directors for American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Texas, the largest state chapter of ACEC National. In this capacity, he plays a key role in improving business practices and advocating for local and nationwide change through engagement with federal, state, and local policymakers on behalf of the engineering industry.
John’s devotion to precision and safeguarding has been a cornerstone of his successful career, where he has consistently worked to protect lives and critical infrastructure. Beyond his professional endeavors, John enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and playing golf.
