Mark Turner’s career to-date has spanned multiple industries and disciplines. He’s worked with and been a part of senior management teams tasked with growing their small, medium, and large companies ranging from energy, to industrials, to healthcare, to publishing. He’s been on both sides of private equity backed businesses: as both an investor in and as a company manager of. Along the way, he’s also worked with and aided the decision making of state legislators, state and federal regulators, and members of the local community.
Prior to co-founding Line-Scape, Mark most recently was a Managing Director of Crux Capital, where he was on the Board of Directors of Superscapes, a Crux portfolio company. Prior to Crux, Mark led FP&A for Pilot Thomas Logistics (“PTL”), a $2.9B logistics business with over 120 locations. Prior to PTL, Mark held roles in healthcare and private equity.
Mark began his career at Booz Allen Hamilton, Inc. (later Booz & Co.). While at Booz Allen, Mark worked with Fortune 500 companies – particularly oil & gas and utilities – and foreign governments crafting competitive strategies, assessing market landscapes, and evaluating acquisition opportunities.
