This is the Privacy Statement and Policy of Line-Scape LLC (“us” or “we” or “Line-Scape”).

Line-Scape understands that your privacy is important. This privacy describes why and how we collect, use, and share personal information collected from individuals themselves or from other third parties, and provides information about individuals’ rights with respect to their personal information. Line-Scape is committed to protecting your privacy and personal information you provide.

  • Use of any of our Applications or Services
  • Receive communications from us, including emails, phone calls, or text messages
  • Request copies of publications or subscribe for email newsletters

What data Line-Scape collects

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and services, when you participate in activities on services, or otherwise when you contact us.

When used, our forms will typically ask for:

  • Phone Number

We will not intentionally collect or process—and do not want you to provide—any sensitive data.

Purpose of the data collection

We collect information about your interaction with our Services, including the resources that you access, pages viewed, how much time you spent on a page, and how you reached our website. We also log the details of your visits to our website and information generated in the course of using our website, such as mouse movements, clicks, page visits, text entered, how long you spent on a page, and other details of your actions on our website. We may share this information with a trusted third-party to analyze and organize any collected data on our behalf and at our express direction.

Line-Scape uses the personal information we collect for the following purposes:

Blogs and other social media

Line-Scape may host various blogs, forums, and other social media applications or services that allow you to share content with other users (collectively Social Media Applications). Any personal information or other information that you contribute to any Social Media Application can be read, collected, and used by other users of that Social Media Application over whom we have little or no control. Therefore, we are not responsible for any other user’s use, misuse, or misappropriation of any personal information or other information that you contribute to any Social Media Application.

Cookies

In order to offer and provide a customized and personal service, our websites and applications may use cookies and similar technologies to store and help track information about you. Cookies are simply small pieces of data that are sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. We use cookies to help remind us who you are and to help you navigate our sites during your visits. Data retention

We will store data for as long as reasonably necessary, and only for as long as required to fulfill the purposes of processing the data. We may retain data if such retention is necessary for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject, or in order to protect vital interests or the vital interests of another natural person. If we process data, it may be erased automatically, or saved in a format which does not allow any direct conclusions to be drawn as to your identity as soon as the last specific purpose has been fulfilled

Opting out

You can opt-out of being contacted by us for marketing or promotional purposes by following the instructions in marketing emails sent by Line-Scape. Additional restrictions on Line-Scape’s ability to send you marketing information may apply depending on jurisdiction. Please note that opting out of marketing communications does not affect your receipt of business communications that are important to your interaction with Line-Scape, such as communications about your projects or engagements with us, billing communications, security updates, event registration updates, or account management communications.

Do not track requests

“Do Not Track” is a preference you can set in your web browser to let the websites you visit know that you do not want them collecting information about you. The website does not currently respond to a “Do Not Track” or similar signal. We do not engage in the collection of personal information about your online activities over time and across third-party websites or online services to provide targeted advertising and we do not allow third parties to collect such personal information when you use the website.

Rights to access and control your personal information

Depending on the jurisdiction in which you are located, you may have the right to request that we modify, delete, or stop processing your personal information, and you may also have the right to request that we provide the following information regarding the personal information we hold about you:

  • The categories and/or specific pieces of personal information we collected
  • The categories of sources from which personal information is collected
  • The business or commercial purpose for collecting personal information
  • The categories of third parties with whom we shared personal information

For certain personal information requests, we must first verify your identity before processing your request. To do so, we may ask you to provide us with your full name, contact information, and relationship with Line-Scape. Depending on the scope of your request, we may ask you to provide additional information. Once we receive this information, we will then review it and determine whether we are able to match it to the information we maintain about you to verify your identity.

Special notices to California residents

If you are a California resident, you are entitled to request information concerning any personal information you provide to us as part of an established business relationship for personal, family, or household purposes that we disclose to nonaffiliated third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not share such personal information with non-affiliated third parties for such purposes.

Consent and changes to Privacy Policy

By using the Sources, you consent to the collection, use, and storage of your personal data by Line-Scape in the manner described in this Privacy Policy. Line-Scape may, in its discretion, amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. To ensure you are able to remain informed about the information we collect and how we use it, material changes to our statement will be reflected here.
